Teak Doors & Windows Bali | Custom Wooden Doors, Frames & Shutters

Doors and windows have to fight Bali's weather every day — driving rain, intense sun, humidity and termites. We make them in kiln-dried solid teak, merbau or bengkirai, with proper joinery, so they stay straight and keep closing smoothly.

We build entrance and pivot doors, interior doors, folding and sliding doors to gardens and pools, window frames (kusen), louvred shutters and traditional carved Balinese doors — supplied as complete sets with frames, hardware and finishing.

Frequently asked questions

Why do wooden doors warp in Bali, and how do you prevent it?

Warping happens when wood isn't dried properly or is sealed on one side only. We use kiln-dried timber, stable engineered cores for large doors, and seal all six faces — including top and bottom edges — before installation.

Do you install doors and windows in existing villas?

Yes. We replace old doors and frames in existing buildings, including removal, adjusting openings and making good around the new frame.

Teak or merbau — which should I choose?

Teak is the most stable and naturally weather-resistant, with a beautiful golden tone. Merbau is very hard and durable with a darker reddish colour and is often more economical for large quantities.

Do you charge for a site visit and quote?

No. Site visits and quotes are free across our service areas in south Bali and Ubud. For remote locations we may agree a small travel fee in advance.

What deposit do you require?

Typically 50% to start production, 40% when pieces are ready for installation and 10% on completion. Exact terms are written in your quote.

Can you work from my architect's or designer's drawings?

Yes. We regularly build from architects' and interior designers' drawings and can prepare shop drawings for approval before production.
