A staircase is often the first thing you see in a villa. We build floating stairs with solid teak or merbau treads, clad concrete stairs in timber, and make complete timber staircases for lofts and mezzanines.

We combine timber with steel stringers, glass balustrades, rope or slatted railings to suit tropical-modern, industrial or classic Balinese interiors — always designed for safety and stability.

Frequently asked questions

Can you clad my existing concrete stairs in wood?

Yes. We measure each step individually and make solid timber treads and risers that are fixed and sealed onto the concrete.

Are floating stairs safe?

Yes, when engineered and fixed correctly. We use thick solid treads and fix them into structural walls or a steel spine, and recommend a balustrade wherever there's a drop.

Do you charge for a site visit and quote?

No. Site visits and quotes are free across our service areas in south Bali and Ubud. For remote locations we may agree a small travel fee in advance.

What deposit do you require?

Typically 50% to start production, 40% when pieces are ready for installation and 10% on completion. Exact terms are written in your quote.

Can you work from my architect's or designer's drawings?

Yes. We regularly build from architects' and interior designers' drawings and can prepare shop drawings for approval before production.
